Refund policy
30-Day Return and Refund Policy
1. Return window
For an eligible Called It Store product, request a return within 30 days after recorded delivery. The request date controls whether the 30-day window is met. Do not send a product to JBX's public mailing address or to an address printed on the original package unless the return authorization expressly instructs you to do so.
This policy applies to purchases completed through Called It Shopify Checkout. Amazon, eBay, and other affiliate purchases are governed by the external seller's return policy.
2. Eligibility
For a preference return, the product generally must be unused, unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and in the condition received, with serial labels, accessories, manuals, and original packaging reasonably intact. Reasonable inspection needed to evaluate the product does not automatically make it ineligible. Proof of purchase is required.
Product-specific lawful exclusions must be conspicuously disclosed before purchase. Depending on the product and law, exclusions may include gift cards, customized or personalized goods, perishables, opened personal-care/hygiene goods, hazardous materials, and clearly designated final-sale goods.
A final-sale or exclusion label does not eliminate remedies for a product that is defective, damaged in transit, unsafe, recalled, materially misdescribed, counterfeit, the wrong item, or subject to a non-waivable legal right.
3. Start a return
Contact jbxhuddle@gmail.com or 281-305-9305 with the order number, item, reason, and photographs when relevant and safe. JBX will review the request and, if eligible, issue a return authorization and the supplier-specific return destination and instructions. A return sent without authorization or to the wrong address may be delayed or lost and may not be refundable when the customer ignored clear instructions, subject to applicable law.
4. Return shipping and risk
JBX pays or reimburses reasonable authorized return shipping when the product is defective, damaged, recalled, materially misdescribed, counterfeit, the wrong item, or when JBX/supplier made the fulfillment error. For an ordinary preference return, the customer is responsible for the authorized return-shipping cost unless the product page, promotion, or applicable law says otherwise. Any deduction or restocking charge must be disclosed before purchase or agreed during authorization and is never applied to a legally protected defect/safety remedy.
Use the authorized label and carrier method. Keep the receipt until the refund is completed. Risk associated with an authorized return is allocated under applicable law and the provided instructions; a supplier cannot use a carrier handoff clause to remove non-waivable rights.
5. Inspection and refunds
After the authorized destination receives the product, the supplier documents condition and JBX makes the customer-facing refund decision. We may reduce or deny a preference-return refund for missing components, customer-caused damage, material use, or a different product/serial number, but we will explain the basis and preserve applicable statutory rights.
Approved refunds are initiated to the original payment method. We normally initiate a standard return refund within 10 business days after receipt and approval; a bank or payment provider may require additional posting time. Cancellation and shipping-delay refunds are processed within the faster period required by applicable law. Shipping charges are refundable when required by law or when the return results from our/supplier's error; ordinary outbound shipping may be nonrefundable for a preference return if disclosed.
If the customer requests cancellation, an address change, a product/variant change, rerouting, shipment splitting, or another material adjustment after order submission, JBX may decline the request or condition approval on payment or deduction of reasonable processing, payment-provider, carrier-intercept, rerouting, return-to-sender, shipping, restocking, or similar costs caused by the request. JBX will disclose the amount before completing the requested change. No such customer-caused charge applies to supplier/JBX nonperformance, a legally protected shipping-delay cancellation, defect, damage, wrong item, recall, or another non-waivable remedy.
6. Exchanges
Unless a product-specific process says otherwise, we handle exchanges as a return and a new order. This avoids unauthorized substitutions and confirms current inventory, price, and delivery terms.
7. Damaged, defective, wrong, missing, or recalled goods
Stop using an unsafe product. Contact us promptly. JBX owns the customer interaction and will coordinate evidence, return, repair, replacement, cancellation, or original-tender refund as required. The customer is not required to obtain a remedy directly from the supplier or manufacturer before contacting JBX.
8. Supplier inability to fulfill
If a supplier rejects or cannot fulfill an order before shipment, JBX will use commercially reasonable efforts to cancel the affected order and issue the full original-tender refund required by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, that refund is the customer's sole and exclusive contractual remedy for the supplier's rejection, unavailability, cancellation, or nonfulfillment. No replacement, cover, price protection, expected savings, reliance, lost opportunity, or incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages are available for that supplier nonperformance. This paragraph does not waive a remedy that controlling law or a mandatory applicable Shopify/platform policy does not permit the parties to waive.
9. Abuse, enforcement, and legal rights
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JBX may refuse a return, reject or cancel an order, withhold a discretionary refund, and suspend, terminate, or permanently block an account when JBX suspects fraud, bot or automated activity, gamification, manipulation, switched or altered goods, false information, return abuse, limit evasion, unauthorized access, or another risk or policy violation. JBX may act without prior notice, is not required to disclose confidential fraud/security methods, and is not required to prove misconduct before taking preventive action.
JBX's enforcement decision is final within JBX and carries no internal appeal right. This does not restrict a privacy-request appeal, payment dispute, regulator complaint, arbitration/court right, or other process required by controlling law or a mandatory applicable platform policy. If JBX cancels an unfulfilled paid order, it will refund the amount legally due, subject only to lawful and disclosed customer-caused charges described above.
10. Controlling requirements
Applicable federal, state, and local law supersedes this Policy to the extent of a direct conflict. A mandatory Shopify, Shopify Checkout, Shop Pay, payment-provider, or other platform policy that lawfully applies to the specific transaction controls next to the extent of a direct conflict. Product-specific checkout terms then control, followed by this Policy and the Called It Terms. Nothing in this Policy limits a right that controlling law does not permit the parties to waive.
